I Heart Hiroshima Take On Global Stage
I HEART HIROSHIMA is taking their music to the next level and bringing their Brisbane born and bred sound to Europe.
The Band will be featuring as a special guest to The Rakes, an indie/alternative group from the United Kingdom, in a tour traversing the continent. The gig kicks off on the 3rd of May in Germany and will then head to Switzerland, Italy, Austria, France, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
The visit to Brighton on 16th of May will see I HEART HIROSHIMA feature in the Artrocker Showcase at The Great Escape, Europe’s leading festival for new music. The line-up includes over 300 nouveau local and international artists in 34 venues over 3 days, including artists such as Kasabian, Patrick Wolf and Noah and the Whale!

If you loved the first album Tuff Teef, A second I HEART HIROSHIMA album is due to be released in September 2009. But their most recent release is the new digital single, a cover of The Chills ‘Pink Frost’, which, thus far, has been a great success, even making it onto the ‘What’s Hot’ list on the Australian iTunes.
If you want to catch the band before they head off to explore the big wide world, there is three local gigs left before bon voyage. I HEART HIROSHIMA will play at Ric’s on Friday the 10th, 17th and 24th of April.
