Splendour Lineup Revealed…

Submitted by admin on April 28, 2009 – 12:52 am4 Comments

I had my ear practically planted on the speaker of my stereo anxiously waiting for Triple J to announce the line up for this years Splendour in the Grass Festival. The festival takes place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of July 2009 at Byron Bay at the lovely Belongil Fields, NSW.  The excitement was flaring through my veins. It was to the point where I was jumping up and down and I hadn’t even heard the line up yet. When it finally was announced I was ecstatic about the big news.

Some of the acts that will take to the stage are:

Sat 25 July 2009

Bloc Party (UK), The Flaming Lips (USA), Jane’s Addiction (USA), MGMT (USA), Hilltop Hoods, Grinspoon, Midnight Juggernauts, The Specials (UK), Augie March, Sarah Blasko, Friendly Fires (UK), White Lies, Little Birdy, Josh Pyke, The Gutter Twins (USA), Birds of Tokyo, Manchester Orchestra (USA), Decoder Ring, Lost Valentinos, Bob Evans, Yuksek (France), Kram, Yves Klein Blue, Leader Cheetah, Jack Ladder, The Middle East, Polaroid Fame, Glass Towers.

    What a load of crap.
Learn how to write before you go to publish something.
Great use of imagery - ‘excitement flaring through my veins’ wow. Where’d you come up with that? You must have stole it from shakespeare or something.
And every act only plays once (unless it’s a dj set) They all don’t play both days!
The set days don’t even come out for ages!
Get your facts right. Do some research.
    This is a terrible piece.

If I wanted to read the Splendour lineup in the form of a boring press release I would go to the official Splendour website. *Yawn*

Ooh. Yuksek. I wonder if he’ll possibly come to Victoria…? lol
