Splendour and Qjump…Again
Once again Splendour in the grass has decided to use Qjump as the outlet for selling tickets to the festival.
Many punters are annoyed at the festival organiser’s decision to use this website once again as the only source to purchase tickets.
Last year may of those that logged on to the website at 9am were forced to wait hours before getting the chance to even buy tickets. Others promptly got through but were agitated when they were faced with credit card errors through no fault of their own.
There were also several credit card holders who were charged multiple times for their transactions sometimes paying up to four times the amount of tickets purchased. Although these were refunded it caused problems with some customers who overdrew their credit limit.
This year Qjump has promised to implement “innovative ticketing technologies, increased staffing support levels and introduced Westpac as its merchant partner - all aimed at improving the customer experience.”
Whether or not these changes will improve the selling of tickets is unknown. But if it’s anything like the last two year, punters will not be happy. Last year many spent the day in front of the computer attempting to buy tickets only to miss out.
Gone are the days were you could camp out over night for hours to guarantee yourself ticket. The only shot you have for Splendour are through the failed qjump site. Let’s all hope for its improvement.
Splendour in the Grass tickets go on sale at 9.00am sharp on Thursday May 14th through www.qjump.com.au.

No camping experiences anymore sadly.
Instead we sit on our computers and let untrustworthy technology do the job…
I have to say, Q-Jump worked in my favour though, as last year my Splendour experience was pulled together days before the festival.
Seems they can be accomodating if swish em a suck up email.
But, internet sales to me are far too confusing and problematic.
