An Horse Debut Video- “Camp Out”
An Horse, the two piece band from Brisbane, have unveiled their new video for their track ‘Camp Out’ on Stereogum.com. The clip debuted on May 15th, and has since been the talk of the town.
An inspiring piece, the video captures their indie pop music with accompanying motivating visuals. The members of An Horse, Kate Cooper and Damon Cox, mentioned on their April 15th blog they were excited on the filming of their new clip.
“While in Vancouver recently we shot a video for the song ‘Camp Out’ with the wonderful Angela Kendell. We look forward to showing off the results soon!” Kate and Damon wrote.
And show off they should!
The clip begins with Kate singing towards the sky, whilst lying on the ground. She is soon helped up by Damon. A scene so simplistic yet remarkable in itself. Other scenes include the band playing in the street, inspiring slow walking, and Kate falling backward with the lyrics “it’s okay to fall down” accompanying her slow motion fall. Another scene with An Horse playing on stage with old school fairy lighting goes with the mellow feel of the song. The music build up causes Kate and Damon to run away as the song ends, gradually looking behind them. The clip ends with An Horse staring inventively into the camera.
It really is the icing on the cake for An Horse, after Kate and Damon performed the track on The David Letterman show in mid March.
An Horse currently have downtime in Denver to catch up on sleep and watch vampires as Kate and Damon report, before hitting the American road in June with Telekinesis. By July, An Horse will be jetting off to England to tour with the Silversun Pickups. Norway will see the band play at the Slottsfjell Festival along with the Kaiser Chiefs, Foals, The Street and, Motorpsucho.
‘Camp Out’ is off An Horse’s debut album ‘Rearrange Beds,’ which is out now!
So much is in store for Brisbane’s own original talent! So get behind An Horse and check out www.anhorse.com for more information and tour dates.

Nice! My perfect backyard bbq show would be An Horse, Dance Yourself to Death, and Silversun Pickups.
