Sunset Sounds Announces Line up!

Submitted by admin on August 10, 2009 – 11:59 amNo Comment

Just a heads up: call in sick 6-7 January 2010… in fact maybe add another day for recovery as Australia’s newest, sexiest music festival Sunset Sounds returns to Brisbane. Occupying both The Garden Stage and The Hibiscus Stage in the Botanic Gardens as well as the Riverstage in the City Gardens of Brisbane, Sunset Sounds will present two days of pure musical bliss.
Already included in the line up is a mixture of some of the most dynamic names from both Australia and overseas: The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Moby, The Temper Trap, Grizzly Bear, The Editors, Sarah Blasko, Xavier Rudd, Seasick Steve, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Emiliana Torrini, Yves Klein Blue, Andrew Bird, Kaki King, Lisa Mitchell, Art V Science, King Khan and The Shrines, The John Steel Singers, The Middle East and Hilltop Hoods. Clearly, with even more acts still to be added to the final 2010 line up, January’s festival looks set to be well worth the trip to the Sunshine State’s capital – wherever you’re coming from.
Imagine the sun soaked stages, the echoing, electrifying beats, stampedes of beautiful people and some of the hottest talent pulled from a mass variety of music genres. Now we have your head spinning, we should tell you that tickets for the festival will go on sale at 9am sharp on September 24 and can be bought through www.ticketmaster.com.au BUT… it’s strictly an 18+ event. So all of you lucky (and old) enough to go; get ready. Sunset Sounds is coming.
