Indie darlings The Temper Trap snag ARIA nominations
Sweet Melbourne indie folks The Temper Trap have been collecting a swag of accolades over the past few weeks, with key spots on the summer festival circuit including Big Day Out, Falls, and Sunset Sounds, plus a few ARIA nominations to boot.
The charismatic four-piece were nominated for Album of the Year, Best Rock Album, Breakthrough Artist Album for Conditions, and a Single of the Year for the gorgeous “Sweet Disposition” for this year’s ARIAs.
The boys are also doing extremely well in the UK, with a sold out headline tour in the bag and “Sweet Disposition doing the rounds on the airwaves and striking the charts at #7. And thanks to a prime spot in the non-rom-com chick flick (500) Days of Summer, the single has stomped the ground in the US quite nicely while the Trap are touring North America.
The Temper Trap will touch back down in Oz soon after wowing the world to play the following dates:
