Moby will grace our shores early next year to take latest album Wait For Me on official touring duties around the country.

The electronic superstar will headline two one-off shows at Sydney’s iconic Opera House and Melbourne’s majestic Palace Theatre in January in between performances at a handful of totally awesome festivals.

Moby’s absence from Australia these past four years has been duly noted by fans who are gagging for a repeat of his stellar sold out tour in 2005. This year’s release, Wait For Me, was a surprising departure from the typical sweet melodies we came to love on breakthrough debut album Play back in 1999, heading off into darker territory that critics and fans alike are dubbing a “return to form.”

Tickets for the Sydney and Melbourne shows will go on sale November 17.
