Aww YEAH! After a few years away from our fair land, New York City’s finest are finally coming back to show us that special musical gold they are made of.

Already announced as headlining some of the biggest and best festivals over the summer, including Falls and Sunset Sounds, the YYYs have announced that their globally adored new album, It’s Blitz! will be performed at two ALL AGES side shows.

Kids in Sydney and Melbourne will get the chance to experience the supercalifrajilisticexpialidocious-ness that is the live performance of Karen O and co., who it is said will be joined onstage by some very special guests soon be announced.

Featuring some of the greatest party tunes to make love to our ear holes so far this summer, such as Zero and Heads Will Roll, It’s Blitz! is said to be another quantum leap forward for the band, who debuted in 2001 with their self titled EP.

The next single from It’s Blitz to be released will be Skeletons, which will hit the radio waves mid-November.

All we can say is YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!
