Rowland S. Howard’s Northcote show cancelled
Australian rock legend Rowland S. Howard has been forced to cancel his show at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club for Wednesday 16th December due to ongoing illness.
Best known for assaulting audiences with aggressive distortion and feedback during his time with The Birthday Party alongside Nick Cave, the iconic guitarist has joined forces with other notable Australian artists in recent times, including tours and collaborations with Magic Dirt and Beasts of Bourban and an invaluable appearance at this years All Tomorrow’s Parties festival.
Rowland extends his apologies to ticket-holders and those interested in checking him out, and says he hopes that a show will be rescheduled sometime in the new year.
Those who had purchased tickets can obtain a refund through the original point of sale.
