The Blackeyed Susans hit the road again

Submitted by Carley Hall on January 12, 2010 – 3:30 pmNo Comment

Veteran rockers The Blackeyed Susans are hitting the road again to celebrate the release of their 20th anniversary introspective box set, Reveal Yourself 1989 – 2009.

The four disc collection will showcase highlights from the band’s stellar career, spanning two decades worth of downright gems, making it an essential addition to record collections of all tastes.

Emerging from the burgeoning Perth music arena in the 80s, along with other important acts that shaped Australia’s neo-punk scene like The Triffids and Martha’s Vineyard, then basing themselves in Melbourne has seen The Blackeyed Susans become one of Australia’s leading representatives on the live circuit. Crafting brutally honest landscapes filled with love, laughter, heartache and loss with their signature style of dirty guitars and raw vocals makes them a must-see on your event calendar.

Catch The Blackeyed Susans on their tour round the East coast in February before they jet off to Europe, tickets are on sale now.
