The Scare: A new album, a new release and many more new shows to be announced.
As if they haven’t already explored this vast nation already throughout the summer (not that we’re complaining), The Scare are yearning for more Australian vibrations, announcing their next set of shows in the coming months. Better yet, the band set to make the next few months even bigger with the release of their Oozevoodoo album in New Zealand.
With the release of their exciting new album just months ago, the band announce two special shows at Spectrum in Sydney next month where they will be playing their critically acclaimed album Oozevoodoo from start to finish on Friday March 12 and 13. This will be the first time some of the tracks on the album have been played live and is a presentation of how the album was recorded back in 2009.
The band has just recently landed in the country, performing at the infamous Big Day Outs across the land on their national tour. Playing hits such as ‘Cyber Love’, ‘I’m Desperate’ and ‘Cry’, it’s clear there was a certain favourite throughout the crowd. Their hit ‘No Money’ has become a definite crowd pleaser as fans throw coins onto the stage during the performance, hitting some members of the band in the head! This has now become an integral part of the live show as Kiss encourages the crowd each night to take part, despite the pain!
In other exciting news, The Scare prepare for the release of Oozevoodoo in New Zealand on March 29th through EMI Music. The band will also make an appearance there for a quick promotional visit in May with a follow up tour planned later in the year.
Despite their busy schedules the band plan to commence writing for their next album over the next 3 months. The album is due to be released in 2011.
